not true. if they are by themselves you should still have no more than 1 of the smaller species per gallon. the bigger ones is even less

  8. austinpetemo on July 16th, 2009 6:10 pm

each of the fish that you have in there is a schooling specis that requires at least 6 of its own kind in order to feel comfortable and not be stressed. so basically you need to pick 1 or 2 species and get nothing but a school of those rather than going all over the place getting one of each species

None of those fish are able to be in that small tank, buy a larger if you want those fish.

You should buy a cat fish for the tank, not only are they fun to watch but they keep your tank clean :D

probly a cory cat fish dont get to big and are community and u need to hve atleast 3-6 per group

  18. crazymexicanomg on August 29th, 2009 7:51 pm

i tried that and i bought a big big thing of food specifically for corys and they wouldnt eat it cuz it was brown and i have natural looking gravel so it blended in and they couldnt survive on flakes so they starved….=(

  19. TheAquariumKid on August 29th, 2009 9:29 pm

well i hardly feed them shrimp pellets and the survie of food thats on floor and soem shrimp pellets

  20. crazymexicanomg on August 30th, 2009 1:50 pm

ih well i bought two and one of them is still alive so the other one might have died because of something else because he was acting different and less active than the other cory when they were still in the bag when i first got them, and after they had been in the tank so yeah…

  21. TheAquariumKid on August 30th, 2009 1:56 pm

yeah they usaly rest for while after eatign so idk

  22. redgravel92 on October 5th, 2009 3:29 pm

Do u mean sinking catfish pellets? The should have been able to smell the amongst the gravel, maybe your gravel wasnt fine enough for the corys to rummage through to get at the food?

  23. crazymexicanomg on October 5th, 2009 6:31 pm

ya well they r sinking shrimp pellets and for some reason my corys wont eat them….one of my corys died for some unknown reason but the other is still alive….but my gourami wont even eat the shrimp pellets either….he eats a bite then spits it out…lol
