ok i have a question that i need answered asap! so i keep on getting this brown stuff growing on my rocks, can algae be brown? and it is spreading… AND i just changed my filter. is it algae, do i need a pleco, i don’t have one yet because i am new to this whole fish tank thing. my tank is ten gallons, and i currently have two neon tetras, two platy, and two marble hatchets. along with a little frog. if you could please send me a message on my channel that would be great thanks.
Yes algae could be brown and when they are brown it usually means that the water quality is bad and brown algae is the worse stage they are at. Do not get a common pleco unless your planning to get a new tank (a bigger one) they grow really big (up to 2 feet) just get a bristol noise pleco that grows up to 5 inches =D Well good luck on cleaning it
yes it is brown algae get at least two algae eater they’re worth every penny
get otto cats or rubber lip pleco they stay pretty small u can see mine in my video
does anyone know how long fancy guppies live for? i have just bought a pair, the female is big and pregnant xD
average of about 2-3 years

brown algae doesnt mean the water quality is bad. It has to do with the lighting in the tank.
can you sell the babies to pet stores??? i don’t know what to do with all my babies! help!
no…pet stores won’t consider buying the big ones, so babies are even more useless to them. You have to feed them and keep them like your own little precious…and when they grow into adults, which will be…in 4 weeks time, they will have sex with each other and give birth to more babies…Hurray… =)
depends on your pet store, some will take them for store credit. My local fish shop takes them

with guppys i always have 1 male 3 females thats the way i done it then i ended up with loads sword tail guppys and double sword tail 1’s very nice colours

no you cant keep fry in with the parents they will eat them.
try putting them in separate tank.
