When putting real wood in a fish tank, doesn’t it make the fish tank messy?

  20. jlrsmiles on March 6th, 2010 12:08 pm

    wow i luv ur tank!

  21. Gookis on March 25th, 2010 12:24 am

If you put real wood into your tank without some preparation it will make the water look like tea. You need to soak it in a bucket of water, changing water everyday or so, for a few weeks. Or, you can boil it in water about 4-5 times. I did both and had wood for my tank in about a week. Good luck!

I wish it was in higher res!! This is a fantastic tank! Congrats. Please notify me if it becomes too much to care for and you need a kind soul to take if off your hands. :-)
