50 Gallon Hexagon Planted Tropical Fish Tank

This is my 50ish gallon hexagon fish tank that I started my fish hobby with and then progressed into a 125 gallon cichlid tank and now back to just this simple, joyful tank that is planted and thriving. My planted community tank includes: 10 White Cloud Minnows 4 Red Serpae Tetras 2 Albino Weather Loaches 1 Common Pleco The tank is planted with some sort of Sword plant I believe, it was a bundle deal so i don’t really know. they were grown in a much shorter tank so they are dying down and growning back to fit my much taller tank, hopefully all the leaves will die back and all grow to 15+ inches, that is my wish anyway. There is also some Anabus in the front, it is really slow growing in my tank because they were started from a bulb and the light is over 2 feet away so they have not really taken off like i want them to, plus the dojo’s always are beating on them. My 10 Gallon Tropical Fish Tank

This is my ten gallon tank that i decided to redo. I took out all of the old stuff and put in some new black gravel, a cave, and some fake plants. I’m going to get a school of 5 neon tetras and an altum angelfish for it. I think it will look very nice. ALSO: the other tank i showed is not tropical, it’s just a 20 gallon with two goldfish in it.

Small Fish Tank

A short video of my small aquarium because aquariums are all about motion. Stocked with: 3x White Clouds 2x Black Neon Tetras 2x Red Tuxedo Guppies 1x Medium Pleco (4″) 1x Bamboo Shrimp I go with 1 inch of fish per gallon of water when stocking, so this 20 gallon is pretty close to full with 18″ of fish. But I’m going to monitor the chemistry to see if maybe I can add some more because I would really like a trio of Harlequin Rasboras. I think I can overload it a little because I do a 15% water change every week, and keep the lights dim to inhibit algea growth. The song is a bridge from “Forty Days” by Streetlight Manifesto. Just something to listen to while watching the fishies.
